Today we were treated to a fantastic show by Crazy Craig. Some lucky boys and girls were picked to take part in the Science experiments! We love Science!

At the Post Office

We made our letterbox using an old cardboard box. We took turns to paint it as it needed a couple of coats of paint!

We need to buy a stamp before we can post our letter.

The Post Office worker sells us a stamp.

We can then post our letter in the letter box.

Here's hoping the Postman won't forget our letterbox when he collects the post!

Magic magnets!!

Today we had fun with magnets.

 We discovered lots of things in the classroom that our magnets stuck to.

 We then played a game with our toy cars to see which one moved the fastest with the different magnets!

Plenty of patterns!!

We have been busy making patterns using cubes, blocks, peg boards and threading beads.

A visit from the "Frogman"

We were very lucky to have a visit from the "Frogman" who played Science games with us .

 We also learned a lot about frogs!

 We especially loved the "Hopping Frog" experiment.

 Some of us even got to dress up as Scientists!! 

Sorting objects

We have been sorting blocks, cubes and teddies according to size, colour and type.

Magic Maths!

We love to use the Interactive Whiteboard to play maths games! It really helps to bring maths to life!!

We love P.E!

Here we are learning new skills in P.E in pairs. We are learning how to roll, catch, bounce and travel with large and small balls. 

Pass the beat

We love music and experimenting with all the different musical instruments.

Autumn Nature Walk

We went on a nature walk around the school.
We picked up golden leaves that had fallen from the trees.

 We found a nice place to sit and talk about autumn.

We think we found the tallest tree in the whole school and stood underneath it for a picture!
